Hear me out: It makes perfect sense. He said he wants a Toyota or Lexus. He heavily implied it would be 6 months before he could afford a GS 430, but he revealed he’s itching to buy something in the meantime. It’s a FWD V6 coupe (like his Accord), but doesn’t haven’t a transmission that will shit the bed before 200,000 miles.

I sat in back of a client’s mint Solara coupe (they’re all coupes right?). Probably the most spacious rear seat in a coupe I’ve ever seen. Much comfort. Many cupholders. Looked alright. V6 I think? White with gold badges.... It was almost like an SC 300 if you squinted!
